Information about the Color Run for Fall 2019 at LSUS.
The LSUS campus looked very colorful on Thursday night. Hundreds of students flocked to the annual Color Run hosted by the Student Activities Board.
The Color Run allows students to get involved during the school’s Week of Welcome. Whether you want to run the race or help paint the runners, this event has something for everyone. Along the 1.75 mile course were several student volunteers ready to douse the runners from head to toe with colored paint. Students were given free t-shirts and sunglasses to wear as they embarked on the course.
Junior soccer player, Daniel Maierhofler, was the first to cross the finish line. Covered head to toe in paint, he let out a big grin. As other students continued to finish the race, they all gathered up for a big group picture.
After the race was over, Uneeda Taco truck was there with free tacos for the students to enjoy during the after party. The after party was glowing with blacklights so the students could show off their neon painted clothes. This was a great ending to the biggest Color Run yet.
