For this reason, I have created a must-try list starting with student discounts.

Discounts:

According to the LSUS employee discount page, students receive a 15% discount at The BroBasket.com, a 10% discount at Green House Salad Company, and a 10% discount at Pita De Novo.

Students are eligible for discounted rates at ZIPS Car Wash, located just three minutes from campus.

If you want to take advantage of one of these discounts, you must have a valid student ID with you.

Student Friendly Spots:

The first spot on the LSUS student-friendly list is Green House Salad Company, located at 7460 Youree Dr Ste. 240-B, Shreveport, LA 71105.

This business offers a 10% discount for LSUS students who have a valid student ID.

Green House Salas Company is open from 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Mondays-Saturdays. 

Pita De’ Novo, located at 8510 Youree Dr., Shreveport, LA 71115, is the next to join the LSUS student-friendly list.

This restaurant also offers an LSUS 10% student discount to students with a valid LSUS student ID.

Pita De’ Novo is open Mon-Thu 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Fri-Sat 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM, and Sundays 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

The last to join the LSUS student-friendly list are Rhino Coffee Uptown, located at 721 Southfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71106, and The Library on Fern, located at 8660 Fern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105. 

These local coffee and dining spots offer a cozy study atmosphere for students to hang out or study off campus.

The Library on Fern is closed on Mondays, open from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesdays, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Wed-Thu, and 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM Fri-Sat.

Rhino Coffee Uptown is open every day from 6:30 AM-7:00 PM.

Places Hiring Part-Time Workers:

Many places are hiring part-time workers for students on and off campus in Shreveport, LA.
