SGA MEET AND GREET

By Courtney Jackson & Shelby Willis

LSUS students put faces to the people behind change at SGA’s Meet and Greet. The representatives of SGA gathered in the main lobby of the UC in purple polos. They spread awareness about the impact of voting for Louisiana’s governor and what SGA is all about. Flyers about voting and applications for the Spring SGA Senate were passed out. However, the main attraction was free pizza because who doesn’t love free food?! Halfway through common hour, SGA made a big move to The Port where students played Bingo and air hockey. Pizza boxes were tossed to the side one by one as students swarmed SGA members. They want to remind everyone to join SGA and to remember the importance of exercising your right to vote and letting your voice be heard.
